DJI Mavic Air 2 holds a larger physical sensor – a 1/2″ sensor compared to the 1/2.3″ sensor used in DJI Mavic Air and DJI Mavic Mini. Also the number of effective pixels is higher: 48 MP. 4x as much as Air and Mini (12 MP).
Video specs improved, now offering 60fps in 4K and 240 fps in 1080p for ultra slow motion. With DJI Mavic Air 2 also HDR video is introduced (but limited to 4K 30fps). Max. bitrate was pushed to 120 Mbps. Max. photo resolution is 48 MP – 8000 x 6000 pixel photos. It seems the internal storage was dropped compared to Air 1 – so don’t forget to insert your SD card before takeoff.

Availability
DJI Mavic Air 1 is not available at the DJI Store anymore. You might get a cheap deal at Amazon or other stores who want to clear stock.
DJI Mavic Mini seems to be widely available currently.
DJI Mavic Air 2 ships from DJI Store first, so I guess the best option to get.
In general I prefer buying at DJI store since you can get your Care Refresh which is instantly activated with your drone.
