New app updates are available for your phone bringing some changes on how to changes modes of your camera:
As you can see the top menu bar, where you could switch between photo and video mode disappeared. Now all mode selections can be made via the button right of the record/trigger button.
The info about the current settings moved from below the picture to the top and is clearly visible. Next to it you will find the battery info of the camera. Phone battery is not displayed anymore (but visible on the phone info next to carrier information).
A nice addition is the new 16:9 crop where the 4:3 picture is displayed with transparent bars on top and bottom to show you the 16:9 framing.
There is just one mentionable change in the settings: 2K resolution disappeared. It was shown in the previous version, but it didn’t work.

The top menu bar: video – snapshot – photo disappeared and the modes can be selected via the button right of the record/trigger button. The available photo and video modes are the same as in the previous version. The “snapshot mode” is not available anymore (or I couldn’t find it).
The battery status of the camera is displayed next to the current settings of the camera, the “connection status” is not displayed anymore. Also the phone battery status is not shown, but visible on top next to carrier information.
Now you can always see the full 4:3 resolution of your frame, when selection 16:9 the framing is cropped on top and bottom with transparent bars.
When the camera is not connected and you go to the settings of the app, you will notice that the info about the app version disappeared so you can’t click to check for updates. In iOS the app version is still shown.
The available settings have not changed compared to the previous version.
