2K Xiaomi Yi action camera Resolution Demo Footage
The camera shoots in 2304 x 1296 whereas YouTube’s resolution is 2560 x 1404 or 1440p. That’s why the video has a black frame.
Most 2K Xiaomi Yi footage on YouTube was uploaded from the camera and therefore you can’t set YouTube to a higher resolution than 1080p!
The camera was mounted with an adhesive mount and for protection of the camera the Aluminum Case was used (which suffered a few scratches as the car flipped several times) – it was a good decision.
